MIDGE A. MORTON is a co-founder and co-managing partner of the law Firm. She has extensive legal experience in corporate and commercial law, legal issues relating to resort development and operations, and international trust and company administration. Midge regularly advises clients on day-to-day legal issues including general corporate activities. Midge’s clients include but certainly are not limited to, commercial banks, high net-worth individuals and other non-governmental agencies. She has represented both domestic and international clients in a variety of businesses including administration of trusts and estates; securities; family and matrimonial proceedings; personal injuries and intellectual properties. Recent transactions in which she has been involved include advising a developer on a multi-million dollar development project. She also acted as lead counsel and was instrumental in securing an award of over US$30 million against the Government of St. Kitts & Nevis on a compulsory land acquisition matter. She appears before the High Court and Court of Appeal and has been involved in many notable decisions including:

Midge was educated in the West Indies and holds an LL.B. from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados and an L.E.C. from the prestigious Norman Manley Law School, Mona Campus, Jamaica. She is called to the Bars of St. Christopher (Kitts) and Nevis as well as Anguilla. Midge is also a Notary Public.
Midge was recently the proud winner of the International Advisory Experts (IAE) Corporate Law (Nevis) award for 2016.

Midge successfully pursued a course in Anti Money Laundering with a view to becoming a certified anti-money laundering specialist for ACAMS.
